Kitchen Update

Well...the kitchen is primed and ready to be painted.
I sure hope the drywall dust is over but something tells me it is not.
Tim just took a look at it and decided there was a spot he was not happy with in his drywall job.
I think he did a fabulous job for someone taking on a project this big by himself for the first time.

Here is our kitchen when we first moved in a couple years ago.
With your help....here's my new kithen table! What do you think?, Okay I finally found a table for my breakfast nook in my kithen. I deep down wanted a distressed white one but went with your advise and got the black one. I must say I probably wouldn't have ever chosen the black one without all of your persuasion. I do really like it though. I just needed that extra push. I bought a few pictures for the wall with some black and need to add a few more black things. How's it looking?, Kitchens Design

Here it is a few weeks ago.

Here it is as of today.

I know it looks like a mess but the drywall really does look good.
The previous paint color was pretty dark.
These walls have two coats of primer.

I picked out two samples of paint today.
I'm not sure which one of these I like the best or if I'll use either one.
I took the picture tonight and there was no natural light at all.
I'll have to see how it looks tomorrow.

The color on the left is Benjamin Moore Bird's Egg.
The color on the right is Benjamin Moore Arctic Blue.

Here's another little sample of how it looks from a different angle.

Here is the fabric that the curtains will be made from.
The main fabric will be the big floral print.

So what do you think?
Which paint, if any, did you like best?
You know me, I'm always up for suggestions.  :)

It is real hard to tell from pictures, but it I like the first blue the best.

Oh I love the fabric...and before seeing Kim's post, I go with the first one too...you need contrast, and I think the darker of the two would give you that. Thanks Crystal for asking me, I am flattered.

Oh Crystal, the room is looking wonderful! I think I would choose the first blue as well. Does it match the lighter blue in the floral fabric? A warm light yellow to match the floral center might look good, too! What fun fabric!

Kim had suggested yellow before as well. The only reason I haven't really considered yellow is because that was the color of our kitchen before we moved here. We just wanted something new. We had a yellow mis-hap in the dining room earlier and that scares me too. :) Thanks for the suggestions!
